-I, Andee Lewis, hereby pledge my eternal love for Metal Gear Solid. 8DDDDDDD I bought MGS3: Snake Eater the other day for $10, but I just ended up borrowing MGS3: Subsistence from Scott anyway since it's better and then I found out Alex is planning to buy the MGS Essential Collection, so I returned Snake Eater. >.> It's pissing me off already though. No Otacon, AND no radar?! alkfdjlkds.

-I've been applying for jobs lately. The Gamestop I applied at today actually had a 'now hiring' sign set out, so hopefully I'll get a call from them. HIRE ME, GAMESTOP. I WANT AN EMPLOYEE DISCOUNT. D=

-For a while I'd been wanting to get two new ear piercings on one of my earlobes (to make four total, three on one ear and one on the other), and today Mom was like "hay wanna get your ear pierced?" so I said kay. 8DDD It'd been a while before I'd gotten any ear piercings, though. It hurt more than I remembered. o_<

-On Saturday I went to a Relay for Life event thing at Reedley College, and while I was there, most of my cell phone straps fell off my phone and I didn't notice until too late. T_T So there goes the Grunty strap that I've never seen anywhere else, my brand new green magatama strap, and the little Phoenix strap I got from the AX Artist Alley... plus all the other ones that fell off with them. DX My Phoenix screen cleaner, Vivi keychain, and penguin bell are still there, though. Phoenix has already fallen off a bunch of times, and I'd hate to lose the other two.

-I feel like a jerk, 'cause I've had hly_drgn_swrd's copy of Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes since AX06, and uh I finished it in three days last week. D: I got the 'bad' ending (which wasn't so bad for me, 'cause I like Otacon), which was really kind of hilarious at the end and I now love that game like WHOA. Now I'm playing MGS2 'cause Aimee got it for me for Christmas a while back... and I think I miss playing as Snake. >/ Stupid Raiden.

-Speaking of video games, I also rented Crisis Core, but it's annoying me. I can't go five steps without a battle, and then I can't go another five steps without a cutscene. alskdmflasdkmmlj!!

-Speaking of video games again, I'm going to go pick up Persona 3: FES tomorrow. WHOOOP. I suppose I should attempt to get further than I am in Crisis Core before I start that, though. ~~It'd be nice to play a game that doesn't make me CONSTANTLY PARANOID ABOUT GETTING CAUGHT AND SHOT~~

Wow, I've been slacking on the LJ entries.

-An oki_chan and a cayla_chan came to my hauze for the weekend. 8DDDD I think "Who would you rather shoot in the face, Miles or Klavier?" and "You have to eat someone's flesh. Do you eat Wendy Oldbag's flesh or Spark Brushel's flesh?" are particularly amazing conversation topics.

Oh, and Zebraman is the best movie ever. Because he ACTUALLY TURNS INTO A PEGASUS-ZEBRA. (Zebrasus?)

-My glasses snapped at the left earpiece the other day, and I don't have an optometrist appointment for another month. >8| I was thinking about just getting new lenses for these frames, too... I do want these, though.

-I'm taking my driver's test on the 22nd. I'M GONNA FAIL, WHOOO

-I'm Phoenix over at vonalzo now. |D It hasn't even been that long since I played him last, but I missed playing him.

-I ordered some Phoenix Wright figures (the full-body ones, not the ones of just the characters' heads and upper torsos) and got them the other day-- I got Mia and Phoenix (actually more like Mia and Miles and Aimee got Phoenix, but uh I traded her. >_>) I ended up getting face toasterless!Godot as well, but I already have it (seriously, isn't that supposed to be one of the more uncommon ones?! >:[) so I gave it to Roseh and Cayla. I'd order more to try and get another Miles one, but his poor face would get disfigured because I'd be punching it all the time. D:

-Persona 3: FES comes out soon and I'm excited because I want to play it. 8DDDD

-I got a new car door (to replace the one that got damaged in my car accident last fall. >>;; ), so now the outside of my car is nice and prittyful again. Yay! But someone left two gallons of milk on the floor right behind the driver's seat. They proceeded to leak on the floor and nobody knew because we didn't use the car for a couple of days, so my car smells like sour milk. IS NOT SO YAY. The back seat is also covered in dog hair. D8 That car is gonna be the cleanest car ever when I get done with it, I swear.

I also may or may not be considering making some Gavinners bling for my rearview mirror. >>;; I dunno how sculpey, paint, and varnish hold up after hours in the sun, though. >8|

-I ordered a green magatama cell strap (YOU GUYS CAN'T LIE TO ME ANYMORE) from Strapya World, and I haven't gotten it yet. D= For some reason, though, I have yet to be charged for anything I ordered there, and I've already gotten part of the stuff I ordered and the other part has shipped... O_o

-I'M TIRED OF SEWING ALREADY. 8D Stupid hakama have burned me out already. I'm taking a break from it until next week, but uh that's because I have to clean my room. D8

This morning I had to take Mom to get some procedure done on her jaw, but they had to knock her out with anesthesia, and she was so out of it afterward that she couldn't help me with getting back home-- as a result, now my car is totaled. ...aaaand five hours and one nearly-dead wrist later, I am almost finished making my very first hakama. 8B It's for Scott's Itoshiki Nozomu costume. It wasn't as hard to do as I thought it might be (especially considering I'm just going off of a couple of tutorials-- PATTERNS ARE FOR LOSERS), but I'm not sure how I'm gonna get the pleats to stay put. The fabric's polyester. |D

For some reason, though, the moment Dad turned the air conditioning on in the van today, I immediately thought "holy crap it's almost AX. why am I not sewing right now" because apparently now air conditioning = springtime, springtime = almost summertime, almost summertime = AMAGAHD AX MUST PREPARE. sigh.

So it would seem that my right hand is completely determined to render itself unusable. I messed up my wrist while bowling lastThursday so I have to wear a wrist brace, and as though THAT wasn't making it hard enough to do stuff I normally do with my right hand, now my right index finger is wrapped in gauze because I tried to grab a falling box of aluminum foil but I ended up cutting myself on the razor edge of it instead. asdfkjargkrgas. it is a complete bitch to type, cook, write, and paint, let me tell you. Great time to have two Klavier necklace orders to ship off, amirite D:

Yesterday we bought a used futon couch/bed thing from someone who lives nearby for my room. It's comfy, but o lawdy the cushion/pillows are fugly. At least I have somewhere to sit while I'm playing mah vidja gaymes now.

I watched Train Man (the movie version, not the drama) the other night, and omfg. What an adorable movie. It's about a stereotypical otaku who saves a girl on a train from a drunk, and then she sends him a thank-you gift in the form of two really expensive teacups, and he's like "omfgomfgomfg" and goes to 2chan for help. XD It was a lot better than I was expecting. I srsly recommend it ~~even though I mainly watched it for Kuranosuke Sasaki. I loves me a him~~. XBb

The weirdest thing about it, though, is that apparently was based off of a true story. o____O!! THERE'S HOPE FOR THE REST OF US.

I started a My Anime List over here the other day, and augh I am so angry because I know I've seen and read a metric buttload more than I've listed there, but I can't think of anything else. XD I nearly forgot about Key the Metal Idol, though. Looking back, I'm not so sure I should have watched that when I was, what... 12? 13? 8| 'Course, maybe it's not as weird, violent, and fulla boobs as I remember. ~~Not that I mind the boobs~~

Hmm, let's see. I went to Gamestop on Sunday and traded in some stuff. I bought Phantasy Star Universe a while back 'cause I found it in a clearance bin for like $8, but ended up not really caring about it (the reason may or may not partially be the fact that the main character is a weird mix of Allen Ridgeley and Ichigo Kurosaki, and also the fact that apparently he doesn't need to open his mouth to go "WHOOOOO 8D". 8/??), so I traded it in for $7. Whooo. XD They wouldn't let me trade in any PS1 games, though. ~~Am I stuck with Final Fantasy VII forever?!~~

So I got like $25 for that and some other games (I probably won't miss you, KHII! Pokemon Trading Card, on the other hand... *sniffle*) and DVDs, and put it all down on Persona 3: FES because THE HYPE. I MUST KNOW WHAT IT'S ABOUT. Plus it's only $30 ~~and my PS2 needs some lovin'~~. >_> Though, I feel kinda bad about not playing the other games first, buuuut uhhhh too bad. 8D

Alex picked up a copy of Brawl there, too-- it's fun, but I still kinda don't understand why everyone's getting their panties in a wad over it. |D;; I don't think I'm ever going to be able to decently use a character that isn't Kirby. I like playing as Snake and Pokemon Trainer too, but I suck ass at using them ~~and Kirby too, but shhhh~~. I'll find out what our Brawl friend code is soon and post it.

Wow I have really been slacking with the LJ updates ~~and writing things in general~~. WHOOPS. Not that I have anything interesting to write anyway. :||||;; Uhhh lesse.

-I took all six GED tests over three days last week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday), and now I have nothing to do for the next six weeks beside waiting in suspense to find out whether I actually passed or not.

-Oyama, the place that used to be my favorite sushi restaurant in Fresno, is now a really snazzy sushi & karaoke bar called Sushi 80's, where they play 80's music (unless, of course, someone happens to be singing something more recent on the tiny stage) and the waitresses are super-adorable when they take your order in broken English. But they changed the menu along with the name & decor, so now it's just a snazzy place for people who aren't ambitious enough to sing karaoke where the food isn't as tasty as it was before. Boo on you, Sushi 80's. :| ~~Is it me or are the best restaurants the ones that always look like they're struggling to stay off the ground?!~~

-I bought some silver Sculpey and some chain-- to make Klavier's necklace, of course. XD If the one I make looks good enough, I probably won't keep it for myself, since there may be some people interested if I put it on eBay... >>

-I watched Dexter's Laboratory today for the first time in years. o lawdy, I missed that show. I lol every time Dexter talks, because his voice is awesome.

-Painted my nails the Guitar Hero/Rock Band colors again. ~~You can't live a beautiful life without beautiful nails!~~ 8D

-This song needs to stop making me want to start playing the electric guitar. Argh.

I juuuust finished Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney a little while ago. Spoilers under the cut, adurrrrr.

-LITTLE KNOWN FACT: I love Phoenix. I really do. But jesus christ, Hobo!Phoenix pissed me off so much in the first three cases. I can't even put my finger on exactly what pissed me off, I just know he was kinda just... creepy. and weird. and and and he was just not Phoenix. D:

The flashbacks, though, made me sad. Phoenix started getting rather cocky (about court experience, no less-- right, like having experience in court ever applied to you, Phoenix. XP) in his last trial, which made me kinda feel bad since I knew exactly what was coming. And then I felt REALLY bad when he was trying to gather information after his badge was taken away-- Phoenix is usually pretty indifferent, rather than being in a particularly good or bad mood all the time. Because of that you can really tell when he's honestly unhappy, and that makes me sad because for three games Phoenix was the one who was always supposed to be strong for everybody. D: Not to mention it really would have been nice if someone like Maya was there, or you at least got to talk to Gumshoe afterward-- the whole thing felt kinda... lonely? :| (Except for the little!Trucy part. Phoenix is the cutest thing with kids. ;3; )

And looking in the Court Record and finding no badge to present to people is more depressing than it should be. I miss it! I freakin' presented that thing to everyone!!! D:

-Kristoph. omg. wtf. I am right on the line between ttly loving him and hating his stupid sexy bastard face.

Oh, and his hand? Yeah, that freaked me the hell out o____O I thought his nervous habit thing would be his eye twitching or moving or something, since that particular sprite doesn't show his eyes, but there was nothing so I went down just a little bit, saw his hand, and from there I thought, "Whoa, I didn't know he had a scar there-- holy fucking shit what is that."

The nail polish thing makes me laugh so hard. He probably goes for regular manicures |D Or used to, before he went crazy. 8D I don't even know what to say about him other than that. XD

-Apollo is adorable! He was a little different than what I expected (I thought he'd be a loooot dorkier), but he's still super cute. For some reason I thought a lot of his dialogue sounded too old for him, but then again Apollo looks like he's fifteen, lolol.

The Perceive system is hilarious. I love how he can say something like "YOUR ARMPIT IS SWEATY, THEREFORE YOU'RE LYING" and it's totally a valid reason to weasel another testimony out of a witness.

-Trucy is so cute. ;3; Especially little!Trucy. I think I still like Maya more, though. 8D;; Maybe because I like Phoenix and Maya's interaction more. Iono.

-The last trial day was the freakin' easiest. thing. ever. After I beat the game, I was like hey, that was quick-- so I looked it up-- you present a total of FIVE things (every one being incredibly obvious), and use the Perceive system once. riopmvrocal;mvr that made me kinda angry. >/ Of course, they might have done it because inbetween the trial days for Vera's case, you have to do another flashback trial with Phoenix and then break about FIVE ZILLION psyche-locks after that, but still. It didn't make Kristoph feel like the ZOMG ULTIMATE LAST BOSS that he should have.

Oh, and then it turns out the whole jury thing? Just an excuse to make it so you don't have to present any proper, solid evidence. BUT WHO NEEDS THAT, HONESTLY.

The part where Kristoph and Klavier are bitching at each other, though? Fuckin' epic. I wish I had a transcript of it. It was hot.

-KLAVIIIEEEER. He might just be my favorite prosecutor. I haven't decided yet. It's incredibly refreshing, though, to have a prosecutor who isn't bitchy or angsty, obsessed with a perfect trial record, revenge, or both, etcetc. Which isn't to say I don't like the old prosecutors, of course. It's just that Klavier is someone I could actually stand being around. XDD

And let's not forget that he is a rather sexy piece of man in the last trial day of case 4, omg. I would play case 4 again just to see that part.

Oh, and I was surprised at just how little he and Ema interacted. o____o??

Uhhh let's see. I thought I had something else to write about (especially about Phoenix, the stupid retard), but I can't think of it right now (probably because it's 6:30AM...). >>;;

Overall, though, I did love the game. The ending really wasn't that satisfying, though. :| Not for me, at least.

And now it's freakin' bedtime. Why does 6:40AM even exist?!

Uhhh let's see. I got an email today saying 'o hay, your paid account is expiring'. My bank account is crying tears of blood right now. BUT THAT DOESN'T MATTER because now I have Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney. 8DDDD I already want to punch Phoenix more than I've ever wanted to punch anyone before, and that includes Miles. LJ friends, if I ever hear about any of you getting fired from a successful career and then becoming a homeless bum, rest assured that I will most likely punch you. And not the fruit kind of punch, either.

I'm on case 2, and I keep getting distracted. I'll play for a few moments, put my DS down, and then be like 'hey wait, wasn't I playing something?' and then wash, rinse, repeat. I blame my cold, though. Ever since it started my brain's been all 'attention span? what attention spa--'.

Oh yeah, I rented No More Heroes yesterday-- a rather stupid thing to do on my part, not because I don't want to play it, but because I rented it during the week that SHOULD be spent studying, but will probably be spent playing Apollo Justice instead. Durrr I'm a moron.
